“Oh, How I Love Jesus”

“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep my word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.’” John 14:23

I am completely astonished by the God who is my Creator. When I ponder His dynamic Being, It is incomprehensible to me. He grows me daily as I draw nearer to Him in prayer and His word. The growth process at times is imperceptible, but as the days become weeks, and the weeks years I can look back at a lifetime of God being better than I deserve. I did not want this Resurrection Sunday to pass without acknowledging who God is to me. So I will testify of His love and praise Him in the dance. In my greatest sorrow, in rejection, in envy, in failure, in sin, in poor health, in joy, in acceptance, in success, in obedience, and in health God has become everything I needed. When I am alone and I have a longing or just need to occupy the space in my head with beauty , I talk with God. He hears, He answers and He becomes my:

Forgiveness

Friend

Peace

Hope

Joy

Love'

Defender

Justice

Fortress

Comfort

Grace

and Mercy.

Everything I can name and that which I cannot, God becomes this for me so that in all things I have what I need. Jesus through His death, burial, and resurrection made it possible for me to know Him and remain in His presence always. Thank you to a loving God who is Father, Spirit, and Son. I have no greater love than Jesus!
